NFBA Award

The National Frame Building Association (NFBA) holds an annual convention for new product advancement, continued education, and the pioneering of innovative techniques in the field of frame building. Comer Buildings was individually chosen among dozens, receiving a national honoree award in the 2010 homes and residential category. Presentation of the Buildings of the Year is a highlight of the National Frame Building Association expo in which Comer Buildings had the honor to participate.
Comer Buildings received this national award for the new post-frame project built for Eugene “Goose” Gunter of Batesville, Indiana. Mr. Gunter’s building is a combination of an open shop and living area. Among the many innovations demonstrated in the build, this post-frame construction project exhibits selections of metal colors, wainscot, and the strength of laminate columns to complement this exemplary build.
